"Body Movin’ (Fatboy Slim Remix)" by Beastie Boys is featured on Just Dance 2 and Just Dance: Greatest Hits.
Appearance of the Dancer[]
Original[]
The dancer is a woman with bluish-blackish curly hair. She is wearing a mint green and yellow headband, a teal short sleeved shirt with a bluish-black leotard, a yellow belt around the leotard, mint green sneakers, a yellow glove, and dark purple and teal wristbands. Before the beginning and end of the chorus, she will quickly and briefly change color palettes.
Remake[]
The dancer now has a purple outline. She no longer goes through multiple colors at the start of the chorus. Her hair and leotard are now dark purple. Her face is now less visible. She is also more realistic.
Background[]
The background is in the layout of a gym. There are lockers, a barbell, and a neon caption saying "Body Movin’" glowing in light green color. Behind that sign is a man flexing his muscles and two tigers at his sides. The dancer is dancing on a teal workout mat.
Remake[]
In the remake, the lockers act like music bars, and many elements are differently animated.
Gold Moves[]
There are 4 Gold Moves in this routine:
Gold Moves 1 and 4: Act as if you are spinning a record with both of your hands.
Gold Move 2: Point to the screen with both of your hands as if saying stop.
Gold Move 3 (Just Dance 2): Put both of your hands up.
Gold Move 3 (Remake): Put your left arm up and your right arm near your chin.

Trivia[]
General[]
- Body Movin’ (Fatboy Slim Remix) and Sympathy For The Devil (Fatboy Slim Remix) mark Fatboy Slim’s second and third appearance in the series.
- The original version is a minute longer than the version used in-game.
- A clean version of the song, which replaces the line "Ooh, goddamn!" with "Ooh, excuse me!", is used in-game.
- In the remake, the artists are credited as "The Beastie Boys".[1]
- In the lyrics for the remake, "A1 sound" appears as "A one sound", and the last time the word "Body" is repeated, it gets highlighted and remains for some seconds instead of immediately fading away and being replaced by a repetition.[2]
Routine[]
- In the remake, Gold Move 3 consists of a totally different move. This marks the first time in the history of Just Dance in which a choreography is partially changed in later appearances.
- Additionally, in the remake, the coach performs some moves a bit differently compared to the Just Dance 2 version of the routine. This happens because the remake uses a second take of the routine that is only seen towards the end in Just Dance 2 (where a glitchy transition can be noticed in that part).
- On the menu icons of Just Dance 2 and Just Dance: Greatest Hits and in the coach selection screen of Just Dance: Greatest Hits, the coach is missing her glove.
- This has been fixed in the remake.
- The coach’s outfit is likely inspired by the music video for Eric Prydz’s "Call on Me".[3]
- The pictograms have golden arrows, although the coach’s glove is in a lighter shade of yellow. Unlike with other routines from Just Dance 2 and Just Dance 3, this is not fixed in the remake, and even the arrows for the remade pictograms are in a similar color to those of the old ones.
- The dancer reappears as P1 in Hungarian Dance No. 5, where she has a different color scheme.
- In the old Just Dance Now servers, there is an asset bundle with early menu assets that show the coach with visible facial features.[4] These have been ultimately edited to make her facial features less visible.
- The dancer seems to be standing farther away from the screen on its Just Dance Now icon.
- In the Just Dance Now pictograms sprite, it can be seen that the renewed version of Gold Move 3 was not meant to be a Gold Move at first.
- Besides, on one pictogram from Just Dance 2, the outline has been cut out roughly, and two shake emblems have been added.
- In the remake, a part of the coach’s right foot gets cut out while she performs the split at the end.
- This likely happens due to the coach being resized so that she does not overlap the feedback icons on Just Dance Now and later games, as they are placed at the top of the screen rather than on its sides.
- In the Mashup of This Is How We Do, the remade coach has a slight blue tint to her color scheme and she has a bright cyan outline instead of a thin purple one; both of these details are not seen in the remake.
