Game Features[]

  • In a video showcasing the gameplay of Burn on the Xbox One, many glitches are apparent. It may mean that the use of the interface was based on the Xbox 360’s final production.[citation needed]
  • Avatars initially did not have their sticker appearance.
  • The transition before the gameplay and the scoring system was reused from Just Dance 2014 in the E3 demo, as well as the Gold Move effect and the menu BGM tracks.
  • The following differences can be seen between the Beta version of the song selection menu and the final one:
    • The old one was lighter and less animated, as well as the menu icons.
    • The row of small white squares in the middle that indicates the player’s position in the menu was missing.
    • The icon of the World Dance Floor was more cobalt blue than light blue. Besides, it was positioned a bit higher and it had less effects.
      • In addition, "WORLD DANCE FLOOR" was spelled as "WORLDDANCEFLOOR", and "Connect to join the World!" was written above, being separated by a thin white line.
    • The player’s avatar was placed in front of the arrow that leads to the Dancer Card option, rather than on its left.
      • Besides, the option was called "Dancer Profile" and the "Just Dance Regular" font was used instead of the "Just Dance Bold" one.
    • The button that gives access to the JD Wall function was designed differently, and the icon stating the number of unread notifications was purple instead of yellow.
  • In some early previews, the feedback icons had a bouncing effect in Beta versions (like in Just Dance 2014).
    • In other ones, the icons slightly bounce back up before falling down.[1]
  • In early versions of the game, it was possible to use some present nicknames for P1 that have been taken out of the game, like "Nintendo_E3," "Gamescom" , "Glitzy," and "Mii".
  • Party Master Modes were initially seen at the end of the song selection menu (right after the playlist icon); in the final version, instead, they appear in a separated section.
    • Their icons were totally different as well: they only consisted of the word "PARTY MASTER" written over a Wii U gamepad emblem on a purple background.
  • The element in Party Master Mode that displays the next move was originally reused from Just Dance 2014.[2]
  • The Mojo Coins had a different design.
  • The playlist icon was a bit different in the version from E3 2014, as the Beta menu icon of You Never Can Tell was seen on it. In the final version only a very small part of the square is seen.
  • The menu icons initially had the glass effect from Just Dance 2014.
  • A different design of the Autodance icon can be seen in the E3 trailer of the game.
  • The Ubisoft logo animation movie from Just Dance 4 was used, albeit shortened.
  • The starbar originally used darker colors.
